Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Workers collects when you use workers.dev, why it is collected, and what your rights are. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
The site collects only what a web server needs to serve a page: the request's IP address, user-agent string, the URL being requested, and the referring URL if the browser sent one. This information is written to short-term access logs and used to diagnose errors, block abuse, and produce aggregate traffic statistics.
We do not run third-party analytics scripts on the site, do not embed advertising trackers, and do not sell or share any request data with third parties.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies for browsing. If you use the search box or newsletter form, no cookie is set as a side effect of that action.
If you contact us at any of the addresses listed on the contact page, we retain that email for as long as the conversation is active and delete it afterwards. We do not share email addresses with third parties or use them for anything other than replying to the message you sent.
Access logs
Server access logs are rotated on a 30-day cycle. Aggregate summaries (page hits per day, top referrers) may be kept longer. IP-level records are not retained past 30 days except where a specific abuse investigation requires it.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/UK, GDPR gives you the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send those requests to privacy@workers.dev and we will respond within 30 days.
Third parties
The site is served through Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare processes request headers to serve pages efficiently and to protect the site from abuse. Their privacy documentation covers what they do with that data; we do not receive anything from Cloudflare beyond aggregate performance data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects what data is collected or how it is used, we will note the change at the top of this page with the date it took effect. The last update to this policy was 2026-01-15.
